Do you travel for weddings & portrait shoots? What is your travel fee?
Of course!! We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area and we shoot throughout all of California and beyond. Travel fees vary by location. Typical fees include transportation costs for primary and secondary shooters, two-night hotel stay, and car rental for two days. For further details, feel free to contact me.
Are the digital images included with your collections? How many photos will we receive from the wedding?
Absolutely!! All my collections include the digital wedding collection and are delivered to you through an private, password-protected, online gallery. All images are high resolution and color-corrected for your personal use. Since each wedding is unique and different, the number of images received depends upon the collection chosen. Typically, an 8-hour wedding yields between 600 – 1000 images.
When do we get to see our engagement/ wedding photos?
Approximately 24 hours after your engagement/wedding, a sneak peek to sent to you, highlighting moments from the day. Wedding photos are available approximately 6 weeks after on a private, online proofing gallery. Engagement photos are available approximately 2 weeks after.
Is an engagement session necessary? What if we don't want the engagement shoot?
All wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session. Although it is not required that you have an engagement session, it is highly recommended. This is a chance for you and your fiancé to get to know me as your photographer, especially since we will be spending quite a bit of time together on your wedding day. Since having your picture taken all dolled up isn't something you're familiar with, it's always a good idea to get the jitters out with a "practice run”. The engagement shoot helps ease any apprehension you may have and helps you become comfortable in front of the camera—making the wedding day photos that much better. Best of all, you get fabulous photos of you and your love. And its Free! Because this is a complimentary service, a discount will not given for not having one.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Nervous about your session? Having a fashion crisis? Here are a few suggestions to help.
Prior to any shoot, I'd love to plan a face-to-face meeting to further discuss your sessions. And don't be shy…..ask questions, share your thoughts & ideas. It will also give me a chance to learn about you as a couple…your personalities, how you met, and the story behind your engagement.
During your shoot, we'll walk around looking for areas with soft and attractive light while keeping environment characteristics in mind. I will suggest certain “posed” positions, but ideally the two of you will interact as if I'm not there. Yes, I know this sounds a bit uncomfortable, but within the first five minutes, you’ll warm up to the camera, and you will be having fun in no time.
WHERE TO SHOOT
The choices for photograph locations are infinite! Of course, I'm happy to make suggestions, but don't be shy when you have a special spot in mind. Remember, these are photos you will cherish forever, and I want you to LOVE them. Choose a place based on your history together as a couple, like where you met or became engaged. Or pick a location at random, simply because you've always wanted photos taken “there.” Be creative, be different, and let it be you.
WHAT TO WEAR
Your session includes two outfit changes. Typically, one outfit is dressy and the other is a bit more casual. And since I love COLOR, the one thing I do recommend is to add a “pop” in whatever you choose—this can tremendously enhance the feel of the photo. Be bold, be sassy, and have fun with what you wear. I'm no fashionista, but I can certainly make some helpful suggestions. Wear outfits that will compliment each other. For example, if you're wearing a pink dress and sassy heels, have your fiance wear a button up with subtle stripes, blue jeans, and clean shoes. If you're feeling creative, feel free to add your own personal touch, whether it be your favorite piece of jewelry, colorful balloons, or even your pet dog—whatever it may be, bring it along! Most importantly, I want you to feel beautiful and of course, comfortable. Be hip and have fun!
